We are building for the family and the future, so it is important that everyone is involved.<\/b><\/h3>\n

Creating your very own house from your own ideas is the dream of many. For Nicolina and Per Bostr\u00f6m, it turned out to be much more than that.<\/p>\n

- We looked at existing houses before but didn't find anything we liked and almost gave up. But when we had the opportunity to buy a plot of land beautifully situated at the mouth of the Skellefte River, the thoughts of a dream house started in earnest,\" says the couple.<\/p>\n

Modern V\u00e4sterbotten farm<\/h4>\n

The fact that it was a J\u00f6rntr\u00e4hus and also in timber is probably due to the fact that the Bergsholmen model was already the house they were looking for, basically a classic V\u00e4sterbotten farmhouse but with a modern expression.<\/p>\n

- A V\u00e4sterbotten farm is in many ways timeless, and hopefully this house can be passed down through several generations,\" says Per.<\/p>\n

- We are building for the family and the future, so it is important that everyone is involved.<\/p>\n

- We already had a clear idea of what we wanted the layout to look like and presented these ideas to J\u00f6rntr\u00e4hus at an early stage to make sure they were feasible.<\/p>\n

- The fact that the proposals meant that the original model was both stretched and stretched in different directions in order to be able to fulfil our wishes was an interesting process to take part in.<\/p>\n

Our own unique house<\/h4>\n

Despite all the adjustments, the feeling of the original Bergsholmen remained intact and now they have the house designed exactly as they wanted and hoped for.<\/p>\n

- What makes it extra special for us, and a confirmation that together we have created more than our own unique house, is the fact that \"our house\" is now also part of J\u00f6rntr\u00e4hus's new model programme for 2018.<\/p>\n

- The fact that our house could be the basis for other families' dream homes is nothing but a nice bonus,\" says Nicolina.<\/p>\n

Moving in by spring<\/h4>\n

The construction of Bergsholmen will be completed by the end of 2017, with occupation taking place in spring 2018.<\/p>\n
