HOUSE TOURS - BY LAKE AND SEA
On 14 June, we arranged four well-attended holiday home tours by the lake and sea just outside Skellefteå. It was a day filled with inspiration, curiosity and concrete evidence of how house dreams can be fulfilled.
- We are seeing renewed interest in our holiday homes after some market turmoil. Many people are looking for their own place to recover, and they want to be able to influence both the look and feel. We're right on target," says Gunnar Ölund, one of our representatives during the day.
Spring and early summer is the time when many people start to realise the dream of their own holiday home. Maybe you want to have something ready for next summer, or you want to start planning now for a life-enjoying build in the future.
- "We are very pleased that so many people took the time to come. It was clear that many were serious and interested in the possibility of building something of their own - not just a standard house, but a holiday home that reflects themselves," says Gunnar.
The four holiday homes on display were all based on Jörnträhus' model programme - but none of them was an exact copy. All houses were personalised according to each customer's wishes, something that we at Jörnträhus encourage and are happy to help with.

Moulding to your own dreams
Visitors were interested in both summer cottage models, smaller ones, and generously sized holiday homes that are also more suitable for permanent living. In addition to completed houses, visitors were able to see a project in the midst of construction - a welcome opportunity to understand both the process and how much freedom they have to influence the outcome.
- We had both our employees and our homeowners themselves on site - plus construction companies that assemble our house kits - which gave a personal depth to the viewing. Hearing the customers' own stories about their choices and journey to a finished holiday home was incredibly appreciated," Gunnar concludes.
Today's viewings were a clear sign that more and more people see the value of investing in a holiday home that can be shaped according to their own dreams - and that Jörnträhus is the partner that makes it possible.
