When Jörnträhus advertised a position as project manager in the autumn, we received 47 applications. Something we are of course very happy about as we hear many in the region who have difficulty getting applications in a hot labour market. The person hired was Mariana Engman, who comes from WSP where she worked as a client and is a designer at heart.
- It feels great, both that we attract so many applicants and that we have found such a competent project manager in Mariana, says Mikael Lindberg, CEO.
Mariana will start her employment on 10 January.
There is also a great demand for internships at Jörnträhus. Tim Caswell and Frida Hysi are studying to become timber construction engineers and have done their LIA period 1 for 12 weeks in Jörn. Now a continuation of LIA period 2 is waiting.
- They've done a great job and helped us in the field right away, supporting our a-design with a-drawings," says Mikael.
