Strycksele emerges in Iceland

Jorntrahus Strycksele is growing in Iceland holiday home construction kit prefabricated 1

We have previously reported on the Jörnträhus Strycksele model delivered to Iceland. The 230-square-metre semi-detached house will be located on an Icelandic campsite run by the buyer, and the first pictures of the construction have now been sent to Jörnträhus.

- "The signals I've received from the buyers are that things have gone well so far, they are just about to lift the roof. The house has been modified to the extent that some reinforcements have been made in the slab due to the weather situation as it can be very windy at the site, says Gunnar Ölund at Jörnträhus.

It's always fun to do something that stands out from other deliveries and maybe there will be more orders to the island as we have received some enquiries," says Gunnar.

The house is expected to take three months to build from the time of delivery and soon only the interior work will remain.
