Continued interest in Jörnträhus in Iceland!

House building Modular house Kit Jörnträhus Iceland Collage 1

Right now, two Jörnträhuss are being built for a new housemate in Iceland. The house kits started to be assembled on Sunday by a group of carpenters from Norr- and Västerbotten. Both houses are customised and delivered more or less complete.

- "The first impression from Iceland is that the houses look great, the carpenters are super skilful and nice to work with, and the weather is sunny and good," says Johnny Lindblom, salesman at Jörnträhus.

Some of the houses are sold on by the buyer in Iceland and some they will use for their own purposes, including renting out.

- Later in the autumn, more houses will be delivered from our house factory in Jörn to the new customer in Iceland. These houses will also be assembled by the same wonderful team of carpenters," Johnny continues.

Another Jörnträhus will be delivered in spring 2024 and there may be more. According to the buyer, they already have several new speculators and when the first houses are assembled, they will serve as a showcase for other house buyers who are looking for robust houses from northern Sweden.

- "Being able to showcase Jörnträhus house kits with Nordic quality, function and carefully worked out floor plans can hopefully have a ripple effect and make us more house friends in Iceland," Johnny concludes.

Many thanks Byggruppen i Norr and Berggrens Bygg for your great work and for your photo updates from the house projects in Iceland!
