- I was surprised at the fit, that it was so well thought out. It's a really flexible system to build with," says Fredrik Holmström, CEO of Fredrik & Morgan Bygg in Särna and Idre.
- All suppliers have slightly different solutions, but our carpenters said that the kit from Jörnträhus was above expectations. The fit was very good, says Fredrik, who is also out building when there is time.
He has assembled both knotted timber models and large-block houses from Jörnträhus for customers and notices that more and more people are thinking about the future when building their holiday homes. He has noticed, for example, that many people think twice about energy solutions, such as solar panels, even before the construction phase, as the roof has to withstand the weight of both the panels and the abundant snowfall in the mountains.
- It is also noticeable that more people are installing charging points, even if they do not have an electric car at the moment. It seems that people are thinking one step ahead, for the future.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SORTING AND RECYCLING
The construction itself has not changed much over time, but the sorting and recycling work that is now part of everyday life has.
- Building is the same hard work now as it was then. In the past, nothing was recycled, but today most of the waste material is sorted and recycled," says Fredrik.
"We would love to build even more Jörnträhuss."
HEARTY AND SIMPLE
Fredrik and his colleagues enjoy the assignments to assemble and build Jörnträhus as they appreciate the simplicity and that it is so solid. Jörnträhus has a salesperson on site in Idre so it is easy to get in touch for both builders and customers.
Many people building holiday homes often want to do as much work as possible themselves.
- Many people want to do a lot of things themselves, even if they don't know everything. We understand that, because building is fun, but if you make a mistake it can be quite expensive to put right. And unfortunately, many people think they'll be able to do much more than they actually do. In the end, many often hire out everything anyway, because it takes time to build," Fredrik says and adds;
- Which we appreciate of course. We'd love to build even more Jörnträhuss!
